When you run a business, you\u2019re always going to have a lot of things on your plate. Now, whether your business is brand new, growing, but still relatively small, or you\u2019re an experienced leader and your business is huge, one thing that will really matter is your employees. Any business is only ever as good as the employees they hire. Because, really, your staff build your business. They ARE your business. So, it\u2019s so essential that you are able to keep them happy. And right now, if you ask yourself, do you know how to keep them happy? If that\u2019s not the case, here\u2019s what you need to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Be A Good Leader<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    So first of all, you have to make sure that you are a good leader. You just have to. There\u2019s no doubt about it. If you are a horrible person or a horrible leader, <\/span>your employees<\/span><\/a> will leave. And you will never be able to keep the best possible people, because they will leave to work elsewhere. So, make sure that you are working on your management skills, that you are communicating with your staff well, and that you are leading them in the best possible ways. Because this is always the best foundation for your business.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Reward Your Employees<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Then from here, you may want to think about how you reward your employees. Do you reward them at the moment? Do you have a bonus structure or do you give gifts or are you praising your staff with words when they do something great? If not, then you need to. And even if you cannot afford to offer a bonus right now, then you need to make sure that you are focusing on verbal praise to let them know you value them and their work as a complete minimum.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Stay Legal<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         <\/p>\n

        But essentially, you have to make sure that you are 100% legal. You will need an HR policy and to keep your employees are safe. You do not want to treat your staff badly and then realize that you need to find a <\/span>bankruptcy lawyer<\/span><\/a> now do you? And this can happen if you\u2019re not staying legal or if you\u2019re treating your employees badly and they go ahead and leave.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Develop Their Career<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

           <\/p>\n

          It\u2019s so important for you to make sure that you are helping to push them as far as you can. You want to make sure that you are developing them as a person and that you\u2019re helping to develop their career. This will be great for your business, and keep your staff happy too.<\/span><\/p>\n

            And then the last thing, is just to make sure that your business is <\/span>a great place to work<\/span><\/a>. And sure, you want to make sure that work gets done, but don\u2019t you want your employees to love working for you? If you were working for your dream company, wouldn\u2019t you want it to be fun? Just make sure that you are creating a positive and enjoyable environment. This is not only going to make sure that your employees are motivated to do their job, but it will keep everyone happy at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n
