In October I got invited to speak at 7in7 in Barcelona. This was a great event for Digital Nomads and I got to talk about how introverts and extroverts an work together in a virtual environment.
I got to spend time in Vancouver, BC, Canada talking to over 60 women about introversion and how to use it in networking.
Vancouver is a great place to talk about introversion as there are a lot of people who are immigrating and trying to enter the workforce. There is a great cultural divide and being an introvert just makes things even scarier.
As an introvert, it can feel like the best plan for handling a networking event is to avoid it. Still, inevitably the instance where attendance is in your best interest or simply unavoidable is bound to occur. The good news is that, despite being out of your comfort zone, the networking environment is a setting in which introverts, too, can thrive. Click here for more on the PWN Vancouver event
