You don’t have to get all of the money from your own savings, you could be eligible for a government grant, or a potential investor may be interested in your plans. In any case, more money for your startup means you can invest in grander plans.

The more people you know, the better, and you’ll find that there are more doors open to you. If you could find more people to collaborate with, or have an easier time getting your hands on the services or supplies you needed – things would run a lot smoother for your business.
Networking is also a gateway to other opportunities that could allow you to meet potential investors, or get new ideas for your business. When all forms of information are priceless, you should be spreading out as much as possible.
Understand efficiency
When you run a business, you need to be able to make the most out of every resource that you have. You can’t afford to waste time or money, and that means making sure everything you do is done efficiently. Don’t waste time on things that aren’t important, and don’t make investments that could potentially leave you behind on payments. You’re working against other businesses, and you’ve got to be constantly working to be better than them, despite your size and current capabilities. Wasting too much time and money on a daily basis is going to prevent you from growing.
